Boston Dog Lawyers Founder Jeremy Cohen to Publish "Pet Lawyer"
Jeremy Cohen, attorney and founder of Boston Dog Lawyers, has signed with Harper Edge to publish Pet Lawyer, a book based on dozens of the cases he has handled for pet owners.
Written with NY Times Best Selling Author Larry Lindner, Pet Lawyer takes readers inside the "paw and order" cases: the legal fights families face when their animals end up at the center of a dispute. It draws on years of work in a practice area most people don’t know exists until they need it.
"Every day I talk to people who have no idea where to turn when their dog has been declared dangerous, when they’ve lost their pet in a custody dispute or when they’re facing any number of other legal problems involving their animals. We’ve had more than 7,250 of those calls in our first 10 years. This book is for them, and for everyone who wants to understand how the law treats the animals we live with,” Jeremy said.
Hollis Heimbouch acquired the book for Harper Edge. Susan Canavan of WLA Books represented Jeremy in the deal.
